Turbo Pedestal/Hardware ?

Does anyone know what comes in the hardware kit from Ford to mount the turbo and pedestal? My 03 turbo came with a package that contains 4 bolts, 1 spacer, 1 gasket and multiple o-rings. I am wanting to install this turbo this weekend and want to make sure I have all the necessary parts. What if anything else will I need? Appreciate and input.

well the 4 bolts are to hold the turbo into the ped. the spacer i assume you are talking about is the one that looks like a small rod that one of the four bolts can fit threw. the gasket is for the oil feed. the o rings are for the drain.

thats all you need. when i took mine apart it had 4 bolts, 4 spacers, 1 gasket and i didnt replace my o ring so im not 100% on that one but i would figure 3

The spacer looks like a really thick washer that a bolt goes through. Appreciate the reply. Might buy the hardware kit just to be on the safe side. Couldn't hurt right?

no def couldnt especially if you ever take the turbo off for whatever reason you will have some extra parts and you can just replace them.

them spacer things are used for holding the turbo onto the ped. i wish i had a picture to show you. its like rod/washer thingy. put the bolt through it and then through the ped and tighten into the turbo. but buy the kit or at least get a print out from ford so you see what you have and what you are missing.

my '03 has three bolts, three spacers, and the various o-rings, gaskets, etc - doesn't sound like you have the right hardware to me - maybe it's the '04+ kit?

the newer trucks had 3

The turbo I bought only has 3 mounting bolt holes. The pedestal has 4 mounting holes.

05+ trucks have 3 bolts on the stock turbo... I helped my buddy Nate put his 62/80 in and that's what I remember taking out of his stock 06 turbo.
pre 05 are 4 bolts.

exactly.

the build date on my truck and engine is actually befor the official cutover to the 6.0.

there are three bolts that hold the turbo to the pedestal. if yours has four maybe YOU have an '04 turbo...
