If i decided to take my cat off would any chech enging light come on?

Mine is in the toolbox as we speak! Oh and like they said get rid of the muffler as well, there is nothing like a straight-piped 6.0L! It sounds so pretty! Oh sorry no light here either mine has been off for a loooooong time!
