edge juice shifting

I have been running my edge juice with attitude for a couple thousand kilometers now and love it on levels one two and three. When i get into level four or five and put the pedal to the mat it is like my tranny doesn't know what to do. it is almost like when the edge defuels for the shift it confuses the tranny and it doesn't know what gear to go into. any one else had this issue and is there a fix.

I have the same chip. Edge is garbage and I plan on going with the SCT based on overwhelming post on here about it. Its 10 times better on youj tranny than the edge is. I dont even use 4 or 5 anymore unless I want to smoke someone out.

yah edge are known to cause trans failures on PSD's

my advice... take that thing off and try and sell it to someone that doesnt know any better....

then take that money and buy yourself a set of real gauges and a real tuner like a custom tuned SCT X3

I have one and dont even run it.it is that bad i am just going to get rid of it and go custom i advise you do the same thing.

EARLY 99 POWERSTROKE:wicked wheel turbo,banks 6gun tuner,diy intake,4" straight pipe,2003 pcm,08 mirrors,08 tailgate,03 headlights,tru-cool max tranny cooler,203 degree thermostat,3 guage pod with tranny,egt and boost,leveling kit,285/75/16.

man you have to get rid of that edge pronto. everyone on here will tell you to throw it away. if you have the 7.3 get a dp tuner. for the 6.0 its sct all the way bud.

Your tranny really doesn't know what to do so it will eventually crap out on you. That's the single biggest issue w/ the Edge/Attitude combo. Nice power but no proper tranny tuning to go w/ it. As others have already said, get rid of it fast before its too late. You can't beat a good custom SCT tune for power and the tranny tuning to put it to the pavement.

Thats why I got rid of my Edge, shifted like sh*t. Get an SCT, you won't believe the difference.

How is the edge on a manual trans?

O7 F-5504dr 4wd cab and chasis w/ 12' Scelzi service body 6spd manual trans. 200" WB 17,950 GWWR 4.88 gears
Overhead gauges w/ EGT and Boost. FCDP EGR Delete. AEM Workhorse CAI. Down pipe only, no cat or muff.
