Innovative tunes boost levels?

So I just loaded my new extreme race and extreme street tunes. On both tunes I am getting a lot less boost than stock. Although it is faster and I know it can make less boost and make more power, but should it only make 18psi? On either extreme tune I spike at about 22psi and then it will hold 18psi steady all the way through the RPM's. Stock I could make around 23-25psi.

that is odd. I run the extreme race and boost around 30-33

Hmm would it be a tuning problem or boost leak? What is a good way to check for boost leaks?

It's probably because of your 03 turbo. I've read from many others that they see more boost on the 03s.

The Innovative tunes make a little less boost than others, but they have more power, so I don't worry about it.

I can hit 35 psi and then it will go down to about 33.. But I dont know if it is because of the VGT-SS.

Also how much smoke can you expect out of these tunes? On extreme street I don't see much smoke at all and on extreme race I see a little only when I first step on it from a stop or bog it when the TC locks but it still isn't to much smoke???

give eric a call..i can see 36 pounds out of my turbo. normally it hits 34 @wot down the track or when im laying into it.

18 is very low. if you put it back to stock are you seeing more boost without doing anything different? i would call eric or even ted and tell him whats up, he should be able to fix that for you

I've heard several times that Innovative's tunes don't smoke as much as others. This is one reason I'm going to give them a try soon.

My Xrace puffs just a bit of black when I lay in to it, and then clears up to an almost invisible haze once the charger lights.
