SCT guidance

Well I did it and got a SCT. Found a XCal 2 for a good price and bought it. It came off an 05 6.0 so is there any chance it would work on my truck? It has innovative tunes but I wanna try it now. Then I take it if I have to get new tunes I unlock the tuner, then call innovative tell them what I want, they E-mail the tunes, then transfer them to the tuner via live wire. Is this correct?

Plug it in and check your strategy. The tune may or may not work. Do you know the strategy of the other truck?

Once you have your strategy call ID and they will send you tunes, you can then overwrite the existing tunes.

If all 5 locks have been used, then only SCT can do this. You have to send it to them.

Go here SCT Automotive Performance Products choose your device and download the Live load software for it. Thats what allows you to change the tunes and stuff on the Xcal and livewire.

Wow. I did get a disk with the SCT I just put in my computer and right away it made my computer fast and sound cooler. Can't wait to get a tune on the truck.

Liveload is real user friendly. You shouldn't have any problems using it, but if you do holler back and we'll help you out. You're going to love your new Innovative tunes when you get them.
