Wanting turbo now confused? Dyno day

Just joined, as I have bought a 6.0 powerstroke. Sold the cummings, due to a friend owning a powerstroke, I really like the way his truck runs. I have also seen so crazy videos of these 6.0 towing some semi trucks on youtube.

The truck I bought is a 2004 f350 ext, cab. 143,000 miles on it, and has had egr delete, exhaust, cold intake, and sct tune. I have the truck down putting studs in.

As far as I know the turbo, and injectors are stock. I'm looking to get a new turbo, something bigger than stock. I was looking at a powermax, then heard about Barder, KC, and MTW. I have been following in the forum on all these turbos to help make my mind on which way to go.

So way am I confused? I went to a dyno day at dyno proven yesterday, alot of fun and great guys there. I also saw a lot of powerstrokes which was a good thing to give me more info on turbo, combinations and performance of these trucks.

I got to see a guy with a Barder stage 3, built engine, ported intake, running 205/100 injectors. He put down 534rwhp, I talked to him and said his tuning must not be right, should have made more. I saw a guy with a powermax and wicked wheel, 180 injectors from river city diesel, I believe he put down 550rwhp.

I noticed a lot of action in the parking lot of turbos being swapped, I believe there was at least three turbo swaps happening. One guy had Darkhorse diesel shirt on, and some others without any shirt promo. One truck was a standard short bed conversion, very nice truck.

I was walking back and fourth watching dyno and the craziness in the lot. I then saw a truck go on the dyno that looked like a regular plain truck, but there seemed to be a lot of interest in the truck. The truck sounded very nasty on the dyno, and heard it put down 590's with 915tq. The truck was a standard cab 2wd truck, and there was a lot of guys that worked at dyno proven that where shacking their heads. I found out later that it was a truck owned by the MTW, it had a new turbo in it and was running stock injectors. Later the other truck that had their turbo swapped made there way on the dyno and they too where hitting over 500 rwhp on stock injectors. I asked what turbo they were running and they all answer Madmax, the darkhorse guy (Josh I think) ran 175/75 injectors with this turbo and put down 544rwhp. I talked to him and he said that he gained 100rwhp with the turbo swap alone.

I saw that plain red truck later and it was blowning the tires down the street, going side ways. Crazy *** truck, just plain nasty.

I might just have to watch these Madmax turbos, and get it instead of the others. Some of the things I read about on here just didn't add up, but seeing it in person is what has me confused.
