03 turbo VS elites VGT SS

is it worth the extra money for the vgt ss turbo from elite or would i be happy with just the stock 03 turbo any input would be great

The VGT SS turbo will work better with the injectors you are wanting. But if you can find an 03 turbo, it will give you a good sound and at a much better cost.

with the stage 2's and the VGT SS will this truck still be ok for a daily driver that tows nothing real heavy but enough?

i would get the 03 like it was said, its cheaper and it will put you on the charts for sure if you plan on running the truck. that turbo lites good and holds boost all the way down the track

If you are planning stage 2's I would get the VGT-SS or equivilent. If you were to stay stock the 03 would be good imo.

I would make sure to get studs before going with any type of VGT SS and injectors.

Tow with it regularly and it dropped the EGT's and spooled quicker......Havent had one problem with the turbo so far.
