Livewire 9600 questions...

Hi all. I just bought a livewire 9600. (Old version?) I'm getting the looney wild from Vivian. I'm curious if I should keep my edge for gauges or just use what's on the livewire. If anyone could tell me what pids are available?
I'd be interested in having a FICM PID, ICP, EOT, ECT, TFT and I already have the probe for egt's from the edge but I hear that won't work. Can anyone shed some light for me? Thanks

Keep the edge. I have the 9600 and it doesn't show FICM volts, ICP, IPR, VGT, or EBP.

Will I have to disconnect the edge from the PCM every time I flash the tunes with the livewire?

It plugs into your OBDII right under the drivers side dash.

Keep your Edge. The best setup, IMHO, is a SCT for tuning and an EDGE CTS for monitoring. I love my CTS and I tune with a Livewire 9600. I monitored on it for a while, but changed to the Edge unit. Money well spent.

Gotcha... I don't have the edge insight. I have an edge platinum that connects to the PCM under the hood. That is why I was curious if I should disconnect it each time I flash it.
The edge platinum cost me my transmission. I just put a new trans in and removed the edge for now until I figure out what I want to do. If the livewire will at least do EOT, ECT, and TFT.... I might just buy an EGT stand alone and put it in a pod with my current fuel pressure gauge.

The Livewire will monitor the ECT, EOT, TFT, and EGT too. No need for an analog EGT gauge unless you just prefer one.

How much is cheap? I don't have a paypal nor do I want one but I was able to work something out with a fellow member here...PSD POWER007 for the livewire...let me know.

I already have the probe from the edge in my manifold... Can I make that work somehow?
