locked xcal3

lets say someone bought a locked xcal3 how and how much would it be to unlock it

I think they would be looking at $100-$150 to get it unlocked. You have to get it to SCT themselves, either directly or through a dealer such as Innovative Diesel.

under device info it says unlock 5 does that make anything better or is it still going to cost me

You have to send it back. Its why I am running a stock tune and Dad has the SCT tuner in his Lightning. Mine will run on a stock tune. His wont.
