aftermarket intake and exhaust

i am looking into buying a cold air intake and turbo back exhaust system for my 2003 f250. what do you guys recomend? with the exhaust should i go with aluminized or stainless steel? besides longevity what other benifits come along with the stainless system? om the cold air intake what brand do you guys like for the ford? this is my first ford diesel and was curious what has worked for you guys.

well to start off is it a 2003 7.3 or 6.0? what mods do you already have, if any? you will for sure need exhaust but unless going for extreme hp in the near future i would save my money for a tuner first

2004 F-350 Reg Cab Long Bed 6.0l: Sold

2007 Dodge 2500 5.9l Cummins

sorry for some reason my signature line is not showing up. it is the 6.0 and i do have an edge juice w/attitude platinum in it. the truck has no other mods as of yet. it does have 176,000 miles and runs like a top, just trying to get some better fuel economy and towing ability.

2003 F250 SC LB 4X4 6.0 XLT, S & B Intake, Rough Country Leveling Kit, SCT X3, Edge Insight, Magnaflow exhaust

2008 Megacab SLT 4x4 6.7L Cummins auto, Banks ram air intake W/sooper scoop, Banks monster dpf back exhaust, Edge insight monitor.

well bud first off... i would take off that edge... they are known to cause trans issues with the PSD guys... do a search on it and you will see noone here really runs it....

i would switch to a Custom tuned SCT X3.. you will get the best MPG out of something like that over the edge...

next i would do a 4" AL exhaust.. no other ben. to the SS other than it will last longer...

as far as intake goes... your stock 6.0L intake will flow more than enough air... but if you really want to change it go with the S&B cold air intake... you will be very happy with its flow and filtration...

if you need any prices on anything i have said please let me know and ill be more than happy to send some...

welcome to the Org bud
