Question 400hp???

I have a stock 2005 4X4 CC and wanted to know the easiest ($$$) way to get to 400hp. From what I've read (I'm a rookie here), the stock airbox should be fine and sct/innovative tune is the way to go. Should I go with a catback or tb exhaust? And is one better than the other? It is not a daily driver and is used to tow my travel trailer so I guess I should be more concerned with torque? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

yup get a custom tuned SCT, different airbox, and exhuast you should be well over 400rwhp... but with those things aslo.. If I was you I would get head studs and some sort of a shift kit for the tranny to be on the safe side

I DONT THINK YOU NEED A NEW INTAKE THE 6.0 INTAKE FLOWS MORE IF NOT OUTFLO'S THE AFTERMARKET INTAKES IIRC BUT I WOULD MAKE SURE YOU GOT GAUGES THEN GET A SCT FROM ONE OF THE VENDORS AND STUDS, AND TURBO BACK EXHAUST AND YOU SHOULD BE THERE

5r100 transmission's can withstand up to about 500hp. As well, if i'm not mistaken, you cannot buy a valve body/shift kit for them, as there electronically controlled.

So to the Original Poster.

Gauges, Turbo-back exhaust, and Sct with innnovative's, spartan's, elite's, etc. 's tunes.

And possible head studs.

Egr delete would definitely be helpful

Cheap? Straight pipe your stock exhaust and put an SCT on it.

For longevity... studs, egr delete, exhaust, and SCT...

the cab is not loud unless you are towing (SUPPOSEDLY!!) but the mufflers that come with the exhaust kits are straight through and you can literally drop an apple through it.. also on a side note, my exhaust is twice as loud when you "get into it" than usual, something about the tuning makes that straight pipe loud as heck in a romp session oh yeah....not studs yet! but will be working on that here soon.
