power pro?? what is it?

just got off the phone with my dad and he said a friend is giving him a "power pro" he said it wasnt a downloader, but plugs in under the dash and stays. thats what his friend said anyway so i dont have all the facts. does anybody know anything about a power pro? i googled it and got the procomp which is made by hypertech. he just wants to know what hes getting

There is a Procomp power pro for the 6.0, but there is no information out there that I can find. I found them on ebay, but the auction locks up my browser, so I won't post the link. They're easy to find in case you want to look, though.

I wouldn't try it myself. I'd just get an SCT.

well hes only getting it because its free. we download the sct for huntin trips and stuff. he love it, but doesnt want to buy it. the power pro IS hypertech, which isnt all that bad. by no means the best but good for him. my questions is, is the the only "power pro" out there? he wanted me to find out what exactly it is, since hes never heard of it.
