Tuners

Right now I'm running a bullydog power pup on my 6.0. I'm looking into getting a triple dog gt but I also see the sct livewire that does basically the same thing except the whole custom tunes thing which I'm not all that worried about. My truck is a daily driver 60-150 per day round trip to work. Right now it's all stock "that I'm aware of" which tuner would be the better choice. I love the bullydog I have but I want to be able to monitor the truck too so I'm looking to upgrade.

SCT would be the better choice, if you have a choice. You may not have one though. I'm not sure about the Power Pup, but there has been numerous reports of the Tripple Dog leaving things behind when uninstalled that currupt or affect the SCT tunes even though the entire ECM programming is replaced. You might want to look into the before you make a decision.

If you haven't had any problems and just want to add monitoring, think about just adding a Scan Gage or an Edge Insight.

I don't swap tunes all the time. I got the bully and figured I'd stick with it. Very few people from my area run diesels and those that do are duramax and cummins so we couldn't exchange tunes anyways. Iv just seem so many good reviews on bully and up till now so I Havnt had much time to research them.

The SCT LiveWire TS will out tune and monitor any of the BullyDog products.

BullyDog on a 6.0 isn't the best choice, the monitor capabilities are lacking (no FICMv, ICP psi, ICPv or external ports option). The tuning is a "one size fits all", and if you run your truck hard or tow heavy, may result in premature transmission wear/failure.

IMO, the best tuner for the 6.0 is a SCT. Gives you more power and can be custom tuned to your needs, plus you have many options on custom tunes writers.

If your just looking for a monitor, then a ScangaugeII, Edge Insight, Torque, or DashBoss will monitor much more than the BullyDog.
