The endless search for tires.....

Alright, I am finally going to have to break down and buy tires. I think that I have pretty much decided that I need a 33"-34" tire so I don't have to put a leveling kit on, and I want a good All-terrain tire, I will be driving the truck mostly on the highway, but I hunt as well and will be off road in the fall and winter.

What am I looking for???? BFG T/A KO, Nitto Terra Grappler, what? I want to get excellent mileage, not have to buy a new set in 20k miles, yet don't want to have to sell one of my kids to get them either .......

Thanks,

I just bought my 285's on my truck I bought them on JCwhitney and then had them mounted. It was cheaper than going to the tire store. I have 925 in them altogether.

I've bought tires from tirerack, national tire and wheel, and discount tire. If you shop around you can get a good price from someone

I have not run them myself but everyone I have talked to with Toyo open countries swears by them. I really like the way they look too. They say they are the longest lasting tires they have ever run. I am hoping to buy a set in the near future but need 42's or 44's and I dont think they make them yet.

my brother has those toyos on his truck... they are ok... they are quite but they dont have as great of off-road capabilities as my extreme all terrains.... plus his are already all cracked from the sun in just 2 years.... and only 20k miles

the majority of my friends have switched to the extreme all terrains....
