SCT will not power on

I thought my OBD2 port was dead, but I have 12v at pin 16, my fuse for obd/cig lighter is good, and my edge CTS will power on. I've talked to SCT and they are stumped. I have plugged my SCT into 2 other vehicles and they power the device on. The SCT is model X3 3000. Anyone else have this problem before or have any thoughts?

The only thing I can think of is the truck OBDII port. Maybe the female pins are stretched too far to make a connection, or the pins on the SCT plug is worn thin.

I have no idea whats going on. My SCT will power on with other vehicles. And if I plug in an OBD2 scanner or my Edge CTS it will power up in my truck. I guess im going to be checking out my grounds in a day or two.

I'd run a test light/meter on your OBD11 and visually check the connections.

I had a dirty pin on my livewire, cleaned the pins and it worked fine.

Did that and everything checks out, man I'm running out of things to look at. I had the passenger inner fender out the other day and thought maybe I messed up a ground, but I just checked chassis ground on OBD port to neg on driver battery and had continuity so I guess that cancels out an open ground. Bummer

that sucks... electrical demons are a real PIA.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe you see 12v but the amps are low... but that is a long shot. Sorry.

This is really stressing me out. I have had this tuner since 10/12 and it's never let me down. I have my truck loaded with Tonys X tune right now and it's the bees knees, but I need to pull a trailer next weekend and might be SOL.

check the fuse for the power point as well. I had a blown fuse in both the cig and power point and my OBD2 starting working after I replaced both. It's probably not the solution but it's worth a shot.
