The NEW MTW Stage 2

Alright guys I'm not very good at reviews but I swapped out my Hybrid with a billet single plane wheel for the new stage 2 with a dual plane billet wheel. I haven't had a chance to get the tunes revised yet but my first impressions are.... Wow!! I didn't even reload the tune, just swapped out the chargers and took for a small test drive last night. It was sleeting outside so I couldn't really get on it but the lag is VERY minimal even with the same tunes. Today the roads were dry and I could play a little. This turbo lights off QUICK!! I done a little "test" on a road near my house (closed course lol yea right) and with my Hybrid, I could stab it from a stop at the light and it would get to 97-98mph when I got to the bridge. Today with the stage 2, I stabbed and it spun 1-2-3 and grabbed and buried the speedo past 100mph about 30 feet BEFORE the bridge! I know that's not very scientific but def shows an increase in top end power. Here's a small video. Keep in mind that's with the old tunes. Listen close and you will hear it bark 5th when it shifts haha.


I will get some more videos tomo

Here's a video from 40ish to 90mph with the hybrid for a comparison. Video length shows 2 seconds longer to get there than the Stage 2.

Man that's great to hear. I'm running a Hybrid right now and am waiting for Adrian to get me my Stage 2. Hopefully it won't be too much longer! What other mods are you running?

You can see my sig for all the mods, but main performance mods are 155/stock injectors, MTW stage 2, SPD tune, Herc ficm tune, S&B intake and exhaust. Naturally with all the supporting mods.

The stage 2 has the .72 compressor housing right?

That's a question Matt or Adrian will have to answer. I can say it's for sure an upgrade to the hybrid. And the hybrid didn't run bad on my truck. I can't wait to get the updated tunes from TSD.

Charlie is right, the new stage 2 has a .58 a/r, the differences are the. Compressor wheel, and turbine wheel along with a small tweak, here and there.

2004 F250 Ext.cab fabtech 5.5" lift,and traction bars 35" on 18".2005-2007 grill and LED headlights,58v FICM, Warren dual HPOP system, fuel reg. return system, areo 1000a fuel pump, dual fuel filters, ARP studded heads, CCV reroute, EGR delete, 225/75 Warren injectors, water/meth injection (cooling mist),SCT tuner with customs, banks intercooler. MTW stage 4 turbo, built trans by Andy Warren, 4:10 Detroit lockers.
