Wow, your off to a good start. A stage one turbo with a billet wheel, php ficm tunes would increase throttle response, sct custom tunes such as quick tricks looney, Tony wild man tunes, php, tsd spd just to name a few. Tunes really depends on what you are trying to do tow, race, or dd. In reality it easy to spend 7k especially doing studs depending what all you have to replace as far as dummy plugs, stand pipe, banjo bolts, blue spring update, sct fitting, or possible head problems.

You would be surprised what a stage one and ficm tunes can do for your rig stacked with a custom tunes. It would be a completely different truck. Good luck.

Depends what you want to do with it. Studs will soak you about 5k. then I would flush coolant throw in ELC, get a coolant filter, delete the EGR, FICM tune, SCT tuner with Gearheads tune, oil bypass, Flo-pro 4 or 5" exhaust ( comes with a TRUE 4'' DP unlike other brands and also comes with the best exhaust clamps out there. They are a band clamp versus the pinch style clamps ). If you have money left, post back ahha

I would not get the livewire... and I have one... If i did it over again I would get a normal sct 3015 tuner and then and edge monitor.

It will cost a little more but I think the edge is a much better monitor. Also if your monitor ever gets stolen then you still have your tuner.

That is true but can't you "un-plug" it and take it inside every night...

very true but who unplugs it every time... at the store... at work...

Not going to try and talk too negatively about the livewire... but... the touch screen SUCKS!!! It does not read all the sensor like the edge, torque, or dash boss. I believe the pyro sensor is more expensive. Oh and if you have problems (like me) and have to send your livewire back to sct then you will be without your tuner and you monitor for up to 3 weeks

what, are you gon a sleep with it under your pillow and hope the horsepower fairy leaves some injectors under your pillow? lol. im kidding, but yeah i wouldn't want to plug and unplug it all the time.

I too have a livewire ts. its ok...and, just that...ok. not great, not terrible...although ive been ready to throw it through the window a few times. the screen is very touchy, and it doesnt monitor as much as the edge insight cs/cts does, but I think the edge stuff costs more to add the extra sensor stuff onto.

if you have an iphone get dashboss, its like 150 bucks or so, and monitors everything the edge does, you obviously also have to buy the egt probe and all that (ps...while your heads are off, drill and tap your exhaust manifolds for the egt probe, so as not to worry about metal shavings in the turbo). I dont have an iphone...or dashboss, but everyone with one seems to love it. id recommend a coolant filter, if you dont get the bullet proof diesel oil cooler.
