Injector R&R Going Back In

Got my set of remaned set of 175/75's back from Jess yesterday Complete with the new White High Power Spool Valve Coils! no additional cost, just a Merry Christmas Note! Now that is taking care of your customers.....

I have the Drivers side in and all buttoned up.. Tq'd the Injectors to 31 Lbs per Jess. The Oil Rails to 120 In Lbs. and the Dummy Plug and Stand Pipe to 60 Lb. I may have over done the Dummy Plug afterwards I read where it should get 39 Lb not 60 but nothing broke so we'll see.

I have the Passenger's side in, 1 & 3 Tq'd and have to modify my T40 and use a 10mm socket to do #5 & 7 so they will be done tomorrow.

Got the Sin. Diesel Ceramic Y- Pipe in and all connected up thanks in part to all the instructions shared on this site.

So far I haven't had any extra parts and everything on the bench has a place to go.

With any luck I may have it running tomorrow evening, wish me luck.

Jess wants me to post a video of the injectors starting in the cold and states i could run any weight oil and should never experience stiction again with these new HP spool valve coils.

My only regret is that I didn't have the funds to do a ported intake, so that have to be the next upgrade.

Jess went far and above to get these injectors to me and lost money to ensure we on the forum are taken care of, i couldn't be more satisfied.

Thanks again to everyone that provided insight and direction.

Denny

Jesse is a great guy to work with and I can't wait to hear how the new spool valves do.

I think it would be nice to have two identical sets, one with the new HP solenoids and one without as kind of a side by side to see exactly how much of a difference they make. had talked to Patrick about them the other day.... throwing the idea around yet...

Do you have any idea how difficult the installation of a full set can be?

There is no limit of things that can go wrong or get missed and end up with a blown motor, the oil rail bolts on the passenger side and rocker cover bolts on the back are enough to make you drink.

My injector cups are surgically clean, Torqued every bolt and nut with 2 different Tq. wrenches. Verified every nuance of every Injector.

I can't mentally or physically go thru this again, but of course I would if it needs it.

Denny the stand pipes and dummy plugs are suppose to be torqued to 60 ft/lbs, the 6.0 bible lists that torque value wrong. I went off the 6.0 bible and ended up pulling the passenger side back apart and retorquing them.

What is different about the new spool valves and why are they so much better?

What 1st start procedure should i follow?

Crank with relay out for 20 seconds or so 2 - 3 times using the under hood starter activator wire?

Or crank as usual until air is purged naturally?

yes the check valve will mate up with the long stand pipe just fine. There's really no way you can miss it.
