Performance Packages

We all know that DJ's is on hiatus now. But when he had the doors open, he offered a 6.0L performance package that was well designed and well priced. I had talked to Viv about DJ's starting a package for me in a month or so, but now, no dice.

Is there anyone else out there that offers a similar package to DJ's, AND maintains a civil price? I am already excluding ELITE. Their stuff is way over-priced.

I don't remember everything in DJ's package, but Injectors, bigger turbo?, fuel system, torque converter, exhaust, head studs (my truck is still inder warranty), egr delete, custom tune, flash device, All labor

That was in the list, from memory's sake.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, they used the VGT-SS. Pricing was set at $6k. But, I still have warranty for my engine, which would cover the labor of studs.

That was the last think I was talking to Viv about. we were "designing" a package that suited me. Of course the price would have been adjusted significantly due to saving the labor of the studs.

A VGT-SS wll not support 225 injectors unless you are intending to spray the crap out of them and even then you are pushing it IMHO. But that is just my opinion. Are you looking for someone to do the labor as well or are you looking for parts only?

I have no problem getting my hands dirty. Pretty handy in the garage, and even worked for Ford in Louisville, KY (you get to figure out what the Holy Blue Oval makes there). I just lack a decent place where to accomplish such work (very restrictive neighborhood).
I first will need the parts, then 1. a dealer that will do my studs, 2. someone to do/allow me to assist in labor to install said parts.

To be honest, I drive this truck everyday currently. Probably will remain a daily driver for a year or so. I have seen the limits of horsepower on the street, and have no need to push that envelope with this truck.

I would be happier than a pig in poop with a reliable 600rwhp. On diesel. I don't like N20 but am thinking of adding propane for the gain in mpg.

A reliable 600 hp 6.0L? Those words almost don't go together! LOL Good luck on getting that! You are gonna either have to find someone to do your studs over a weekend or have your truck down for a bit and put it in the shop. You are gonna have to have some mighty big mods to get 600 hp out of a 6.0L. I would not waste that kind of $$$$. I would just get me a 6.4. It would be much easier to get that kind of HP out of a 6.4 than to try and get it out of a 6.0L IMHO. But I would love to see it!
