Stock egt and boost
Just installed a pyro and boost gauge to be ready for the programer in the mail. Question is what should a stock 6.0 produce for egt and boost numbers, with stock exhaust and stock intake? This would be nice to know, so you can actually see the difference the aftermarket exhaust will make.

Well I see lots of views but no replies, I guess that noone has an answer. Well let me tell you what I found out. 2006 6.0 with stock exhaust, and stock intake, EGT at 2000 rpm with no load is between 600 and 800 degrees, pre turbo. Boost will never go past 29 psi, even under load. Max EGT under load never above 1100. Just thought this to be good food for thought.

I installed the power pup at 80%, it runs alot stronger, boost is still below 30psi, but it gets there quicker. EGT will get to 1200 if you stay in it long enough. plan on switching to 4" exhaust soon.
