What are you trying to block off? Are you thinking about the EGR block off plate? That thermostat plate looks like it is for a chevy small block. Here is a link to the EGR block off plate. 6.0L EGR Components

i seen that ne but 35.00 for a piece metal is kind off high

1.5" steel stock cut to about 1/4" thick (can be a little thicker) will do the trick. I got a couple of extra pieces I had my FIL cut for me.

1.5 round slug i/4 thick or thicker? is that the size you need? my bro works at a machine shop so ill have him make me one.

I'm wanting to know if you block off the EGR cooler, what do you do about the EGR valve? do you leave it or remove it and block the valve hole also?
