Got my SCT

I bought an SCT xcal2 off a member here. I downloaded the Spartan tunes, with help from a couple members on the forum the setup went like a breeze........Thanks Dave and Justin!!!!!!

Im running the General ECO tune right now and I adjusted all the shift pressures up 5% including the TC with help from DAVE ofcourse. Im only taking easy right now because I have yet to install the pyro. Maybe it's me but I enjoy the way it shifts, not to hard not to soft and lots of power!! I only got on it once for about 1.5 seconds and it ran like a raped ape.but then again I dont have any other to compare it to. I also downloaded the MAX ECO and Heavy tow. Havent used them yet. I want to try the Hybrid race but Im scared it will hurt the truck without the gauges......otherwise Im happy as heck I got my SCT just thought I'd share

Don't be afraid to get on it for 20-30 sec. even with Hybrid Race.
The gauges are just what the name implies-gauges.
They will not prevent you from hurting your truck, you have to watch and be aware of whats going on.
They will not shut your engine off if it gets above a certain temp.
All I'm trying to say is don't get so hung up on the gauges.

Now with all that said, if your are going to be dogging it, racing it, or pulling with it then, you need at least an EGT.

Yea Im not hard on it at all. I love my truck LOL. What do you think of the Hybrid race?

I think it is a good tune. I have not adjusted the shift points etc., I only ran it for a couple weeks.

Personally I like the Xtreme Race from Innovative, mainly because I did not have to make adjustments.

I am going to reload the Hybrid race tune and work on the adjustments, I want to give it another shot.

You've seen my posts before, I run Xtreme race as my daily without gauges, and haul 1k worth of weight.
I will get on when I want but I don't stay on it.

Ok ive been running the new tune (Spartan GEN ECO)When moving but not accelerating the truck is moving alot faster than it used to. 15mph at idle Im not hitting the gas at all, is this normal?

mine will roll at idle, if i let it. never tried to see how fast though
