Questions about Custom Tunes

Just wondering who's tunes you guy's are running, and how to go about getting them. I just got a Xcal3 with canned tunes and would like to upgrade to some custom tunes. From some people I have talked to about custom tunes, they talk very highly about them and how much better thier trucks run. I don't have head studs yet and would like to get a coulpe of tunes that net good fuel mileage and decent power. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to all replys.

I use DJ ....

but to get a tuner to give you the "good" tunes....they will recommend gauges and exhaust....not all of our trucks need studs

I run Innovative tunes and the power is incredible, just call them and give them your stratagy and they will send you the tunes..

I have a 4" TB exhaust and gauges are on thier way soon. I have been running the canned tunes for a month now and love the street tune, but I want something a little more.

You can't go wrong with Innovative, I run their Xtrme Race as my daily driver. It's great.

innovative here also. run the extreme all the time. the power is incredible. no studs yet and no problems yet lol.

I run DJ's tunes, give them a call and they can help you out. I run looney daily and love it, I don't have studs yet either. I think the looney should give you about 400-420 hp at the wheels.

It's good that you got the studs done though, one less thing to worry about.

If I had an 03 6.0 like you, I sure would have had them done....

I have run custom tunes from nearly all of the tuners on this site and they are all good. You can't go wrong with any of them. If you want to try some free tunes you can go to Spartan Diesel Technologies - Technology Beyond Performance! and download some of his tuning for free. It is the SCT Tuning Archive Some folks like them and some don't. You can be your own judge. I mean, they are free. I ran a 14.1@ 99 mph with the Stock Plus file. From what I hear his 03 tunes are actually pretty good tunes.
