NEED HELP with Xcal2

I just got a Xcal2 from a friend and when I try to install the tune it says WRONG VEHICLE. I don't know if that means it is the wrong model truck or the program is still in his? His is an 05 F250 and mine is an 06. Is thee a difference?

Its vin locked he needs to return his truck to stock or unlock the xcal with liveload before you can use it

He returned his truck back to stock, it says in the programmer stat= stock. What else do I need to do?

Install the software plug the SCT into your computer and click unlock

Yes you can you want the liveload 3 software for the xcal 2

Thanks alot, I am going to give it a try! What type of connection cord do I need to connect it to my pc, i didn't get one from my friend?

Its a usb camera cord
