borrowing tuner

A friend of mine just bought a edge attitude for his 04 6.0. My question is can I program my truck with his tuner to see if I like it, or are these tuners locked to one truck?

As long as he resets his truck back to stock, and the tune gets saved into the tuner you can.

They only VIN lock, while the tune is installed.

at the same time from one in line fuel box...isn't that physically impossible? If he installs it on his truck and runs it for a day then uninstalls it and puts it on your truck....that would work as long as you have the same year. We don't know what year your truck is JIMBO since you don't have a sig filled out.
