Question Question about the Xcal3

I have a 05 and 06 6.0 liters and was wondering if there was any way to just buy one sct xcal 3 tuner and be able to use it on both trucks? i had heard that to do this i would have to put one of the trucks back to stock mode to unlock the sct was wondering if this is true. thanks mark

That is correct. When you program the truck the SCT VIN locks to your vehicle. If you return the truck back to stock you can program the other truck but you only get 5 unlocks from the factory. I wish you could program more than one truck with it, I would let people "rent" tunes from me
