Extreme boost

Alright, so i just went from a street tune on my sct xcal 2 to the performance tune. On the street tune I was pushin about 25lbs of boost on the performance tune I am registering over about 34 is this normal and exactly how much boost can the stock turbo handle? My truck is an early 03.

34lbs is fine for an 03 turbo. Anything after that and it will choke anyway. 32 is optimal and you may have a little bit of error in your gauge anyway.

Thats what I needed to know! Thanks Yall! I am definitely enjoying the new tune although I will have to buy a new set of shoes a little sooner than expected now!

You might want to look into a set of ARP's for the heads too, but enjoy the tune! 34 sounds right for the 03 turbo.
