Stacking Tuners?

I have the banks 6 gun speed loader but am still searching for more power. Do any of you have any experiance with stacking tuners? Or is it worth just getting an SCT? I like the safety thats built into banks and the PDA is a very nice touch but just feels like there could be more power...already have an intake intercooler and exhaust. Have heard lots of good things about the SCT custom tunes too...

you cant stack tuners... in order to put the other tuner in it will take out the one that is loaded....

just go with the SCT Xcal 3 with custom tunes and be done with it... if after that you still want more power do it right and get some headstuds and start saving for larger performance products

I agree, just get a SCT and be done with it. Any of the reputable tuners out there will provide a good tune. Just tell them what you are looking for.

If you want something stacked in your 6.0, buy a can of pringles!!

Actually you can stack the SCT and the 6gun because the banks unit is a 10k mod essentially.

But its not worth it.

I watched a truck do it on dunbars dyno with the SCT tune he dyno'd 422hp . when he turned the six gun to the highest setting he dyno'd 427 hp

With that being said I would reccommend getting the SCT and just using the banks as gauges. The six gun isnt much more than a cool PDA

I guess that was mostly my fault for terrable wording of the first post. What i meant was will the banks pda still work on stock setting to use as gauges with an SCT or is it better to just sell that and get a set of traditional gauges with an SCT. Sorry for the horrable wording in the first post. I havent had head studs done yet so thats my next major purchase...I was just going ot let them go and when they get done under warrenty (hopefully) than give ARP studs to be installed. Anyone had any bad experiances with SCT before I switch?

The six gun should work as gauges. Just make sure when you order your tunes that you tell your tuner that you will be using it for that purpose

Thanks, now for the fun part...who has the best tuning? Ive heard good things about innovative, DJS and spartain or is that just a matter of personal prefrence.

i think its a matter of personal pref... i have only driven trucks with Innovatives tuning so i cant say about the rest of the tuners but man was that truck fast with the extreme tune....

I have run tunes from nearly all of the tuners here and you can't go wrong with any of them. It is a matter of personal choice. You will love what the SCT can do for your motor and your tranny. Not to mention the smile it will put on your face!

Who's tunes have the least amount of troubles/problems. SCT wise.
