Just got my 6.9

Just purchased my 6.0 its 03 crew cab lariat 4wd short bed automatic. I like this truck alot better than my 99. I like the 7.3 but it seems to me like the 6.0 liter has a hell of alot more pep. Anyway I am wanting to go get the muffler and converter cut off because I really dont have the money for an exhaust right now, if I go ahead an strait pipe it, will it make my turbo louder, exhaust louder, more power and increase mileage? Also been doing some looking and it seems like th esct with custom tunes is the best for the 6.0? what about intake?? I am ordering my gauges today probablly. Also is there little free things I can do to the 6.0 like zoodad and little stuff like that ??? thanks

All it really takes to get that 03 turbo loud as hell is to cut off ur muffler and cat. Then when you get the cash for the exhaust...it'll be even louder!

it will make it alot louder and the turbo too!!!
if you do any tunes i would recoment doing a intake too to let it breathe!!!

My 03 6.0 Turbo is loud as hell. I have the FBD 4" turbo back. I love it. Sounds like a jet taking off. People are always looking when i go by to see where the 747 is about to land.
