I ordered the sct from innovative with extreme street, and they said to email them when i get my strategy. I just email it to sales@innovative.com right?

Yep Eric answered my initial email in less than an hour with my tunes.

oh alright, well just making sure. I emailed it last night, but i know its the weekend so its whatever. Just making sure. Also, what do I need to download from SCT's website so that I can upload the tunes? What is the program called?

says i dont have permission to use that. is it the livewire/x3 updater software program that i need to download? sorry for all the questions, new to this

Yeah that link I posted didn't end up taking you to the right place. Just click the tech support tab on SCTFlash.com and download the livewireupdater. You'll need the USB drivers loaded first so download them as well.

SCT changed the X3 into an SF3 on 7-25-2008 so be careful when you're choosing your software and read all of the prompts. I think they've made it confusing because older X3's are now a different part number than what is printed on the bottom of the unit.

You shouldn't need to update the firmware just to get the tunes installed, you'll use the live-loader button to load the tunes (not the file transfer which would make sense)..

Anyway it's pretty self explanatory once you get going. You can go ahead and try one of the preloaded SCT tunes while you're waiting on Eric. They are fun but smokey.

It may be quicker to call them. I talked to Ted on the phone yesterday morning and got my tunes to my email around noon today. Don't worry they'll get them to you. Oh and you'll be very happy. Even with 37" tires I can stomp it from a light and smoke the tires. Have fun
