New F-550 owner! ?s

Hi,

Really great site first off. Picked up a 07 cc dually 550 last week. Does the truck have a derated motor or is it the 325hp one like the rest? Wonder 'cuz most tuners only say F-250 to 450. I liked to get a tune from eithier DJ or innovative seems like alota folks really put good power with 'em.

Trucks goona be my DD for awhile so my Mod list is:T/B exhaust,tuner,guages and possibly a Zex or NOS kit just for kicks. Any info is cool. Thanks.

P.S My bro-n-law has a 08 duramax I know the truck wont be as fast as his but I think when I get done I'd like to suprise him.

Im not to sure but the engines are the same, and i know for 05 the numbers are the same. good luck

Hi,

As long as it's a pickup truck and not a dump or other type truck, it would be the same as the F250-F450.
