Towing with Looney??

My buddy is in a pinch and needs his 4,000 pound boat towed tomorrow. My tow tune in on my laptop at work, do I dare tow it with the looney tune if I keep my foot out of it? Yeah I know, I don't have gauges
I can put the stock tune back on for the short trip if need be but I can only unlock my SCT3 2 more times...........

You shouldn't have to unlock it when going back to stock. i have used put my livewire back to stock many times and never had to unlock it. I wouldn't tow with the looney tune.

you you should be fine as long as you take it easy. I've been pulling loads over 5tons all week with 90+ degree heat and stop and go traffic and havent had any problems. My truck is also tuned by Innovative diesel and on extreme street tune but EGTs usually stay within 800-900

Xtreme Race is likethe looney...don't tow on it. An equilavent to the Xtreme Street you can tow up to 5K.

I'd put it back to stock personally. Also, you don't have to unlck to return to stock. It's just like switching between tunes. You only have to u lock if you put it in different vehicle.

Good idea. As long as you don't beat on it, you should be good to go.

I wouldn't tow with them Looney Toons. It's gonna be crowded and Daffy Duck would drive me crazy.

thats amazing that your pulling over 10,000lbs with a almost race tune and only hitting 800-900 degree's on your EGT's. There must be something wrong with my truck cause I can hit 1100 easy using a tow tune with a CGVW of 19,000, and I towed my 4,000lb goose neck empty with the aggressive street tune and could reach over 1100 pretty quick also
