06 6.0 six gun and propane?

my buddy has a six gun no intake and stacks. he's going to put on the red rooster kit and they tell him it will add 50% more power. is that correct? is it safe? i've heard over 50 ponies can start to cause damage especially it its a tuner with incorrect timing advance. is the banks an ok programmer for propane. i know theres better programmers for the 6.oh but thats what he has and what he wants. just want some info to help him out. id hate to see him blow his engine or destroy his trans cuz we all know how poorly a banks shifts.

propane is not a good idea when used for a HP adder on a 6.0. Its ok at best for a mileage gain..but you need to talk him out of that banks crap and into a SCT and he wont want the propane anymore.

ive tried. i told him nothing good will come of that six gun with propane. any other info will be helpfull

not just with the six gun..just propane in general..on a 6.0

you just cant tell people sometimes..

I agree with no propane, it's only gonna cause problems with his set up. Dump the banks stuff and get an sct with custom tunes he will love the power and his tranny will thank him. Just my .02

Tell him not to bother with the propane and to save the money for a new tranny.

he's one of those guys that your always wrong he's right and his has to be better than yours. he decided to get this after he rode in mine after i got the spartan tuner and he said i was going to blow my truck up with it. wont really bother me if he nukes it. just trying to get some info to tell him so i can say i told you so.

Some people just can't be taught (won't listen)......

It's kinda sad to say, but you might just need to sit back and watch him send a great truck into nuclear melt down. Maybe the second time around he'll be willing to listen to some input.
