Headstuds from dealer?

When the 6.0 was new and blowing headgaskets and the dealer did a warranty repair did the torque to yield bolts get swapped for studs?

Probly not unless the customer asked for it to be done and the dealership was very mod friendly.

Plus you have to provide the studs. Our local shop does it, but its not very common.

So the headgaskets changed on my truck, before I owned it, may or may not have included studs and there is no way to know for sure without pulling parts??

Thanks, for the responses.

Did your truck have a bunch of previous performance mods? If not, I doubt previous owner would have bought studs to have the dealer install during the work. I never heard about the headstuds until joining this forum myself.
