The foil delete is for the 99-03 trucks you can remove the foil from one of the intercooler tubes to hear more in cab turbo whistle

My first post . If you have the 4 aux switches , you can make aux 4 the high idle mod , I just did this tonight on my truck . You take the orange/blue wire from behind the fuse box (1 of 4 wires of the aux switches) Then you extend that wire down to the 11 wires (beside the ebrake) and hook it onto the purple/green(may be purple/blue i cant remember) . Then your done . Make sure the EBRAKE is set , and the trucks in PARK or Neutral , and hit the aux 4 switch up and the idle goes up to around 12-1300rpms (sometimes higher) for like pto(power take off) or to just warm the truck faster or cold winter days .

But im sure there is a how to on here somewhere. Good Luck

they actually have a flash that does this also, when you get in your truck and start it, don't touch the gas or brake after it starts, about 1miunte after idling it will kick your rpms up to about 1200, only works when the outside Temp is below 50 I think

In the search function type high idle mod with the 6.0s its literally connecting a wire to ground or 12v and you get 1200-1400 its already wired in the consumer bundle, just have to find the right wire. 03 and later its a resistor mod to the gas pedal resistor, or more easily just get a chip with a high idle setting.

Not true, you can still connect to the PTO harness on the later models and get the high idle. My '08 has it.
