MAX tune for 6.0

I have a studded 6.0 with 155,000mi. See all my mods/changes (really not much) in my sig.

That said, I'm looking to get a couple of custom tunes. Right now I'm running the Spartan hybrid race. I have a buddy with a banks tuner on a 6.0 and runs it at 7 (highest setting) and it's a little quicker than mine. I want a maxed out custom tune that's not going to destroy anything, including my mileage. I don't drive with a lead foot, but want the power when I go to the floor.

Suggestions please! I know everyone says to try and see what you like, but without looking I don't even know where to start. Like inovative? Why Like Matt and SRL? why? My current tune shifts HARD (I think the TC is almost always at full lock) I don't mind it but wouldn't mind it smoothed out a bit.

Thanks in advance guys!

I have used two so far in my truck. Both are SCT based, one is Looney Wild from Quick Tricks and the other is the SPD tune from Truck Source Diesel. Both tunes are very high power tunes and mileage will suffer if you are on it all the time.

That said, on cruising I got about 1 mpg more using these tunes than stock and 1 mph over Looney using the SPD tune form Truck Source Diesel.

Both have great manors but both drive differently. The Looney has the light switch effect. You have a normal truck up to about 60% throttle and then the truck takes off.

The SPD tune pulls hard all the way up with no light switch effect at all. Both are a little smokier than stock but nothing like I expected. If I floor it I will get a small cloud but nothing that clears intersections. Once running both tunes only give me a small puff.

Others can let you know about their results with their tunes. I have found that each truck seems to respond differently so it pays to try some different tuners. The tunes are not very expensive when you consider what you get.

Good luck,
Sean

We can get you setup with a couple different tunes if you are interested. We offer anything from mild tow tunes to all-out extreme tunes. Feel free to contact me if you are interested and I will help you out.

Ive run lots of tune from different manufactures and to be honest every truck reacts differently to every tune writers tunes. I ran Matt's SRLxx (extremes full fuel tune) and Tonys Extreme tunes for quite a while but since Chris at TSD started doing email tunes again I went with his and his SPD is hands down the quickest tune I've had ever! Spool up was amazing the very first time... Others gave me several tune revisions only to have a slow spool but Chris nailed it the first time.
