Intake decisions??

Ive done some researching but cant figure out what the DIY intake entails. I want to get an intake system for less money.Where do I get one of these things? Or how do I make it? Oh yea and what is a Zoodad? Thanks for all the help in advance.

The DIY intake you hear about around here is for the 7.3. I don't think there's anything out there for a 6.0.

And heres a link to the Zoodad mod.... My Zoodad install with pics

BTW the stock intake on the 6.0 will flow more than enough air and filter better than any aftermarket filter. So unless you're at around 450 HP and wanting more, you'd be fine with just Zoodading it with the stock intake.

Welcome to the Org Adam! The stock intake on the 6.0L is all you need unless you start adding bigger HP mods such as injectors and turbos. You will do better to spend your hard earned money elsewhere. The Zoodad is a very easy mod to do and it does help. Good luck in your search for knowledge and MORE POWER!!!!
