Besides SCT

Besides SCT what is the next best tuner for the 6.0's. I don't want to here a thread why SCT is king and why there is no comparision but what would be the next best choice.

I like your attitude. What do you have against sct? Anyway, your question. I don't own any but i was looking at one with the primary interest being fuel economy and this one is the only one that i have read about on this forum that has any good fuel economy numbers posted by a guy that bought both and sent his sct back because the hypertech gave him 2mpg gain and the sct didn't.

I tried the Superchips (30 days) before I went with the SCT and did not notice any difference in mileage with either one. I've heard the same about Hypertech. I also wonder about Quadzilla?

The only problem I have with SCT it's not for say an off the shelf item. You need to buy the tuner, then get the code from your truck, then call the tuner, then do some computer stuff then your good to go. I know custom tunes are the way to go but what if your to lazy to go threw that process?

If you dont want to go the SCT route look at the edge evo II. Or the Hypertech programmer. Whatever you do stay away from the diablosport.

You can buy a SCT Xcal3 with SCT tunes on it. You dont need to go thru the custom tune part at all, but you will still have the ability to add custom tunes if you choose to down the road. The new Xcal3 holds manufacturer tunes, and 3 custom tunes all at the same time.

If you want something other than SCT I would try the hypertech. I have been told by several guys they are getting 2 mpg.
