CFM+install help

So i got the CFM+ intake elbow only, and want to install it now. I have ran into a snag though. it OD is larger than stock, so I cannot get it to fit inside the stock tubbing. The boot will not seem to strech enough. Am I boned, do I need a differnt one, does it fit, tips please, im going nuts!

its the stock rubber boot, has anyone gotten the stock one to fit??

Sounds like someone may have sold you the Large Mouth elbow? You may need the new tube from the intercooler. You can get the large mouth kit or just the large mouth elbow. I would call who you bought it from and see if they sold you the wrong elbow. The regular elbow is tuff, but a few curse words and some sweat should get-r-done. Do you have a part number for the one you bought? I can look it up for you.

raul at stealth, the guy rocks, got here real quick, like ordred it on friday and its here today. He pm'd me and is trying to get me the boot asap. Sucks though cause im leaving on friday and was hoping to have it all in.

Get the larger boost tube, hoses and clamps and you'll be good. Here's some pics. of mine installed.
