Just EGR blockoff as far as I know. Is your truck stock?

EGR DELETE Plug or valve.
If you have an old EGR Valve you can tack weld it closed. That's what I did

Just do the EGR block/delete when you do the studs. If you are stock, more than likely you won't have any problems unless you are towing something very heavy and have an extreme load on the engine.
