I have about 20k left on my warranty, need input on replacing my stock intake filter unit on my 2007. I maintain my vehicle well, and would like better airflow with good filtration.... ideas?? experience???

What you have now flows all the air you need and cleans as good as you can get, but its your $$

yea afe stage 2 w/ pro guard 7. its expensive but worth it. but for some reason it throws my change air filter light off on my dash... i'm not sure if it's supposed to or not. i hooked up my sct to see if i could shut the light off but i couldnt

Very well said. Unless you're gonna do some pretty hefty mods there's no use to waste your money on another intake. Buy some gauges or a good exhaust and you'll be $$$ ahead and your engine will love you for it.

I keep my truck looking as close to stock as possible, more fun when the little games begin...

So it looks like better airflow will be accomplished on the OTHER end of the machine...I gutted the kitty, lost the muffler.... sounds good under wot, quiet while cruis'n... on the other hand... starting to like the looks of the 2009's... I need a new toy...........rockwoot:

your stock intake will flow more than enough air.... if you were looking to do a full intake i would highly suggest S&B... it will flow as much air as the AFE and still filter 99.53% of dirt: Stealth Automotive. S&B 6.0L Intake

I used just a replacement filter from airaid, and just now replaced that with an AFE stage 2, I got it for $200 and it is well worth it, dont waste your time buying just a replacement filter, replace the stock box it is what is cutting flow...
