Fire rings

So I got a question about fire rings.

when does a guy need em and does it also mean they need to be replaced every so often I heard every 60k mi they need to be replaced.

If you are asking about them, you likely don't need them. Most high power 6.0L's don't even have them since the internals usually go long before you blast those heads off with aftermarket head studs... PS, you also have to have your heads machined in order to install them and there are very few places that could do a quality job.

And lot of high power rigs leave the stock HG and let 'em act as a relief valve....Like let them blow instead of something more exspensive.
