03 lariat performance ideas

I just picked up a 03 f350 lariat powerstroke with a 6.0 from Nashville. I drove it all the way to alliance ohio and the truck drives like a new one. I know this is the worst year for the 6.0 but I couldn't pass it up. I want to put Vivian's looney tune on it like I had on my 06 but don't want to cause problems what do you guys think?

I would start with gauges and see how everything is looking.

That and everything else. You can see the readouts off all of your gauges as opposed to the POS factory gauges on your dash. It is a must have not only for the powerstroke but any diesel; stock or modified.

first off

a scangauge 2 from bullet proof diesel like 165$ or an edge insight cs for 299 from etrailer.com

I had the looney tune and I liked it but I had some funny reactions with truck so gonna try and get it re-done. their customer service is great too.

monitor your truck and check all the voltages, %'s, temperatures, readings before throwing a custom tune on it. that way you'll have a really good idea on if your truck should be able to handle it safely etc...

as usual change your oil/oil filter, fuel filter and show us pics of your new family addition!

-2004 F350 CCLB 4x4: Sinister Race solutions kit, CAT ELC Edge CS, SCT SF3, PHP Ficm programmer, Procomp, Rough country, and Nitto goodies.
-2004 excursion, banks exhaust, 03 turbo, afe intake
-2006 f350 king ranch, 10 in fabtech, 40in tires, sct tunes,

currently-1999 F250 SBRB 4X4 First 7.3 and feels good to be back in a diesel....

Interested in learning something new?

No issues at all. The Livewire TS is great! Very user friendly, can run diagnostics, display codes and has some very cool and useful gauge layouts. On top of all of that you won't need to buy a separate programmer because it is one!
