Smoked by dodge (yes, right forum..)

So, today a dodge with stacks smoked on me a little (we were going back and forth).

But, I couldnt compete with leaving a trail. I currently run an econo tune. So, even when I stomp, not a lot of smoke. I dont like smoke, but would like the ability.

The question is- What is a good tune to run that has the ability to smoke, but is still good on economy and doesnt smoke all the time?

i have 2 from innovative, dont really like them all that much. The street tune is alright, but not a lot diff from looney and a tad worse on mileage and the econo that I have doesnt run right at all.....no idea whats up with that tune but engine misses something fierce.

The livewire is not change on the fly. Its a programmer, not a module... To the OP, run your looney tune, keep your foot out of it for the mileage and drop the hammer to blow smoke at will.

I also run the Xtreme race file from innovative and I'm a big fan of it. It doesn't smoke much at all other than a puff at first when I hit WOT. The fuel cleans up real quick. I've never had a problem with any of innovatives tunes, or DJ's for that matter.

Hi,

We have an economy file that was designed in the image of the looney. Many people say they get their best fuel savings from the looney as long as they keep their foot off of it. This file seems very strong but it is an economical file and when you punch it, it's not going to move like the looney, thereby keeping your fuel in your tank. You cannot tow with this file at all.

I don't know how smokey it is but we can tweak it for you.

smoke and economy don't go hand and hand. Why do folks like smoke at $5/gal? Am I missing something?

I run the DJ's Looney for around town...( when I am in the Credence Clearwater/Rolling Stones mood... ) I get great power, smoke when launching, and interestingly.. most if not all the power comes on a half throttle, the smoke comes on at full throttle (personally, I don't like the smoke, )...just have to watch the EGT'S CLOSE!!! Highway, I run the SCT PreProgrammed File, it is for me the best for economy, performence, and DJ's towing for pulling the 8k RV. As far as $5 per gallon diesel? If I run 62-65 I have gotten over 22 miles to the gallon, at 85-100+ I get 13+ on SCT's File, on Looney I get 14-17 around town depending on playtime... you pay to play, goes with a good work ethic.
