SCT question

After getting a SCT and loading custom tunes on it do the tunes load into the pcm like the generic tuners do? or whats the loading process?

So thats like plug tuner into OBD-II retrieve stock tune, load performance tune then I'm good to go. Nothing else.

I got my SCT last week and it didn't come with a USB cable. Is this normal? Otherwise is it a fairly common one to get?

use a usb printer cable. that is what i use.
