Predator + 6.0 owner looking for a custom tune writer

Hey yall. I have a Predator tuner and I'm looking for someone out there that can write a cutom tune for me. I'm looking specifically for fuel mileage here. I used the sompany's web site to find custom tuners in my area and they are either all out of business, or all they'll do is install the stock Predator tunes. Hmph. Even *I* can do that.

I searched the forums here for "custom tunes" and got a ton of hits, but all for those of you that HAVE them!

Anyway, a pointer to a reputable tuner is worth some gratitude.

Thanks
Doug

Take it from someone who knows.... if you love your heads and tranny... get rid of the Predator! I had one once but no more! I do wish you luck in finding custon tunes. I have heard the newer models are not as bad as the earlier models were at eating head gaskets and trannies!

Every time Doug starts up his truck now, he's going to hear chomp, chomp, chomp of that Predator chewing on those head gaskets...

I dont know of anyone using the Predator for custom tuning a diesel. I know they work great for mustangs and stuff, but the SCT is the way to go on the diesel. Put that predator up for sale.

SCT Xcal2, but they are now selling the Xcal3 and Livewire. The Xcal is just a handheld tuner, while the livewire includes digital gauges. It's a bit bulky compared to some of the other digital gauge readouts. If you are looking for just the tuner, go with the Xcal3 from DJ's or Innovative.
