Performance

I got my order of parts and now its time to put it on. I went with a 4" MBRP turbo back, Xcal3, and pillar pod for Pyro and Tranny temp guages. I was going to start with the exhaust and then start tuning with the xcal. With the three factory tunes what kind of numbers should I expect? If I get a custom tune which is the best for fuel economy?

Thanks

Put the exhaust, the gauges, and then install the SCT. As far as economy goes try DJ's or Innovative Diesel's economy tunes... Or try a Extreme race or Looney tune, I hear if you can stay out of the go peddle you can get better MPG's than an actual economy tune.

Hi,

The beauty of custom tuning is you will find one file that will be perfect for you and your truck. It could be an economy, tow, street or performance tune.

The reason I say with custom tuning is because preprogrammed files, by any mfr., are not tweakable (not a word) and I believe each truck has it's own personality.

Thanks,
Vivian
