What performance upgrades am I limited too?

Hi,All.I am new to this forum and just recently purchased a 2004 F-250.I want to do an EGR delete, new oil cooler,4" MBRP turbo back straight pipe, and tuner. My concern with the tuner is that I might blow the head gaskets with it.What am I limited to as far as tuners and performance upgrades with the stock head bolts?Any help would be greatly appreciated it.Thanks.

The tuners that are most popular ( IDP, Vivian, Gearhead and Wildman ) all write tunes that are safe for the non-studded trucks. So I wouldnt worry much about them. The things that push gaskets seem to be ruptured EGR coolers usually... When the coolant enters the cylinders in vapor or more, it cant compress. So the weak link? the head gaskets. Plus over boost can cause it too, then in that case it will lift the head and allow the gasket to blow out

Yeah SCT tuner. Pretty much anywhere. You can save a few bones by buying them used on here but make sure they are unlocked/unmarried to ANY trucks. Then just buy your tunes from Gearheads ( thats who I recommend ) Tony wildman is cheap and his tunes are killer so Ive read, but he is kinda semi backlogged... He has had a recent issue in his family so give him ample time and I wouldnt give up neither. The wait is worth it everyone says.

Woo wait a sec, FIRST get a scanner scan gauge II or tuner/reader and determine the health of your truck. Assuming you don't already need HG's then proceed but know you should do a coolant filter and possibly coolant change to ELC before you start the Modding.
