Turbo back exhaust

Will putting a 4" turbo back exhaust system with cat delete through a CEL?

That was what I was hoping to hear. The reason I asked was because the guy at the local exhaust shop stated I would through a CEL because the system would not have enough back pressure. And the EGR would not function properly, resulting in a CEL.

thats total bs it will not throw a code diesels dont need back pressure

actually from what I understand there is some truth to that (on 6.0's), the egr/vgt system or something like that but it isn't a very common problem...... I would not worry about it too much

It may through a code but no CEL on the dash.
