oK SO... I have a neighbor with a xcal2 for his 05 mustang and he's willing to part with it cheap. Im getting custom tunes from ID anyway... will the tuner work or do i have to have one from a 6.0 superduty. He only wants $50 for it. sure would be nice if i could just load ID tunes on it and be good to go.. anybody

It will work, connect to your truck-read strategy-send strategy to vendor for tunes-vendor will email tunes-download tunes to tuner from email-download tunes on truck. Spin tires fill up, spin tires fill up etc. Have fun.
You can, if tuner is preloaded load canned tunes on truck now, just remember there is only 5 unlocks per tuner, then it will have to reloaded by SCT $.
